TBH same here. New Zelda is cool but it's just an idea at present, whereas Xenoblade Chronicles X is showing us its brilliance. Couldn't be more excited.
Really interesting take, I'm in the same boat. RESPECT Dark Souls but just found it a bit too clunky - yes I know that I could use magic etc, thanks, but I've tried countless times and just can't get into it.
Sounds fun, much more aggressive. Think this is getting bought.
Yes (XBL is region free and the code is emailed), though you might want to do some price-checking first. Don't know how competitive it is compared to other US prices.
@aCasualGamer: VenomUK explains it really well. Basically you'll sync a DualShock 3 or 4 to it, then play Vita games on your telly, or stream gameplay from your PS4 (in a different room). Niche, but a GREAT way to get into Vita games.
Worth noting that VenomUK was right about "not all" Vita games working tho. Worth checking.
EDIT: Have 'helpful' bubs, Venom.
Yeah, worth a punt for PS4 multi-room alone. Much more like it.
They're currently available to purchase in the UK (details in article).
Nice guide, surprised at how many people pre-ordered and are playing this.
Yeah, right? It shouldn't work -- fearsome and friendly -- and yet Sackboy is all things to all gamers!
Yeah, if you loved BG and IWD this is pretty much designed to rock your world!
BTW, props for loving IWD. Great game, feel it doesn't get enough love.
Heh, if you're into RPGs, why not just buy a half-decent PC? That's where great RPGs live!
JRPGs, on the other hand, will be coming your way soon in abundance. :D
I appreciate the irony of using about a thousand unnecessary commas in my previous comment, BTW. :P
That is some serious comma abuse. Poor comma. Why are sknr hurting you so badly?!
Seriously, though, an interesting article with a simple answer - yes, almost certainly. That said, with Uncharted 4 delayed, they'll need another big gun.
I'd recommend Tales Of Hearts R at £19.99 - it's cheaper than any physical retailer out there and you'll get a load of extra stuff in the bundle.
Agreed, it was a grower. Really hated it for a while, but was great to play a JRPG that tried to do something really wild and new in terms of mechanics.
Heh, the article agrees, but not in terms of "the rest."
Demon Gaze is magnificent and a game that got a lot of stick. Would also recommend Akiba's Trip to anyone with otaku leanings, though only on Vita - it was originally a handheld game and hasn't translated too well to PS3 and definitely not PS4.
Also, Ni No Kuni.
Haha, in fairness they'd make a pretty great boy band!
Wonder if I'm getting a bit jaded? Would have probably thought the cast looked awesome back in the day, but now I'm 30, I just can't relate to anything about their designs. Shame, the world looks incredible, but the characters just seem... dull yet over-designed somehow.
Still, excited about this now.
Yup. :D Then again, as a UK gamer, we get shafted more than the US - we usually don't get games until 3-12 months later!
Yup. There's no way to spin that this is a horrible value proposition unless they bring the price down from its current £50 level (which, in fairness, is likely speculative on the part of retailers).
This should include GoW 1-3 remastered. Sorry, but otherwise there's no point.
Oh come on now. Commissioning a studio to make a new IP for your platform is NOT STEALING A GAME FROM ANOTHER PLATFORM.
I can't put it in simpler terms than that. This petition is a joke, and I say that as someone who primarily plays on PC and doesn't even have a PS4!
"It's still relying on first-party software far too much for my liking."
I know what you mean, but I'd wager that most Wii U owners didn't actually buy their console for multiplats. Instead, they're happy with Nintendo's first-party games to carry them through with their significant longevity, while perhaps owning another console for the big hitters.
